When you find ‘The One’, you just know.
It could be the moment you step into the home, and see the natural light streaming up the hallway. It could be the moment you see the kitchen, instantly imagining your family gathered at the island bench enjoying breakfast. Or, it could even be the outdoor living area, the perfect place to enjoy a summer barbecue with your family and friends. Everyone has their own personal moment when they find their perfect home.

David and Francesca's luxurious Grange 41 suits it's outer city location
With a specific vision in mind, the pair knew a Knockdown Rebuild project was perfectly suited to bringing their dream home to life.
‘Our brother and sister-in-law also completed a knockdown rebuild with Boutique Homes a few years ago, and their experience was really positive,’ adds Francesca. ‘Compared to other builders, we found Boutique Homes had the best floorplans and facades while still offering value for money.’
Lorraine and Shane brought the tranquillity of their five-acre lot to the Ballarat city centre
Two days before they were planning to sign with another builder, the pair walked through a Boutique homes display and fell in love.
‘After much hesitation on my part and persuasion by Shane, I took a look too. I was so impressed, particularly with the kitchen and the size of the bedrooms and living areas. It was an easy decision to make – we were building with Boutique Homes,’ says Lorraine.
Tania took on the build journey solo, and it couldn't have been more rewarding
Tania was still searching for ‘the one’ that would suit her lifestyle (a freelance make-up artist who operates from home) when she walked through the Barcelona. ‘
When I walked into the Barcelona 32 at Fyansford I fell in love!’ she says.
Sean and Clara made their dream home a reality with the Marseille 25
Having lived in a city apartment since moving out of home, the young, married couple found ‘The One’ with the Marseille 25 with Viva façade.
‘I’ll never forget Clara’s happy face when we visited the Marseille display in Clyde North for the first time. I knew then that we’d found ‘The One’’ says Sean.
Laura and Stuarts timeless Townhome
Engaged couple Laura and Stuart found their first and forever home when they bought one of the Boutique Townhomes in Minta Estate, Berwick.
‘We did consider an established property at first, but we wanted our home to include everything we’ve ever wished for. With a Boutique townhome, we could afford to move into our suburb of choice while building a brand new home and still afford to upgrade a range of items around the home to make it more premium.’
Emily and Andrew's forever Riviera
The 3D Artist and Florist knew exactly what they wanted and their long list of boxes were quickly ticked when they stumbled across the Riviera.
“We wanted a house where you couldn’t see the back fence from the front door, we could have a theatre at the front, we could both have a home office and a spare room for the kids to play in. We had a lot of boxes to tick & the Riviera ticked them all. It has so many separate zones that it was perfect for what we needed.”
Madelyn and Deane found their first home in the Marseille
Having a clear understanding of what they wanted for their first home, the pair were able to choose design options with the Marseille to ensure it suited their lifestyle.
‘We knew instantly that Boutique Homes was the builder for us thanks to their high-quality display homes and friendly and warm service. Their premium standard inclusions and quality finishes sealed the deal,’ says Madelyn.
Gavin & Lynda chose a Knockdown Rebuild project for their fifth and final build.
Securing an expansive property in Melbourne’s East, the couple visited hundreds of display homes before finding ‘The One’ in our Marseille 32 with Southampton façade.
‘We weren’t looking for a plain build – we were looking for quality homes with a unique aspect. As soon as I walked into the Boutique Homes display, I said to Lynda ‘this is our home’,’ recalls Gavin. ‘You just know. Every room ticked boxes.’
Lucinda & Brendan's Knockdown Rebuild journey transformed their small Californian bungalow into the beautiful Montpellier.
With an original plan to renovate and extend their bungalow, the family realised the cost of achieving their dream home was prohibitive.
‘We felt that we actually didn’t have the time or the inclination to be a part of every step of the [renovation] process, and instead wanted to feel comfortable to defer to the experts – which we did with Boutique.’
Cindy & Dennis were drawn to the Oslo from the moment they decided to build their forever home.
Whether it was raising their ceiling height or upgrading their kitchen with a 100mm Caesarstone benchtop and double wall ILVE ovens, Cindy & Dennis lived and breathed their Boutique build, appreciating that they knew exactly how much these upgrades were going to cost before they signed up.
‘None of the other major builders could give us a detailed quote for a comparable home without us first putting down a deposit,’ explains Cindy.
Customisable floorplans for their young family was a priority for Aimee & Paul
For Aimee and Paul, finding a home that was practical, stylish and in a location with room to move were key to the long-term happiness of their family. Building Boutique’s Riviera 32 on their corner block of the Armstrong Estate has truly kicked that goal.
‘We loved the community feel of the estate. There’s lots of play areas and facilities for the children, including a gym and pool, which they love.’
Randel and Anita chose to Knockdown and rebuild to stay close to their community
After renting from 2004 in Heidelberg West, the pair were determined to buy within the same suburb, craving the familiarity of the area, its close access to schools, public transport, work and the airport, and family just a few doors away.
‘We knew we definitely didn’t want to renovate, and its been a good choice. The value of the house has really gone up and we have seen the true potential of the area.
Even after 5 years, Tom & Dana still love their forever home
In 2014, married couple Tom and Dana were on a mission to create a Bali-inspired oasis in the middle of Melbourne’s suburbia – somewhere for them to relax after a hard day at work and a place for their family to enjoy as they grew up.
Choosing the St Tropez 28, with a wide variety of bespoke design upgrades and quality advice from the building team meant the couple were able to create an open, relaxed holiday vibe in their own backyard.
Mim & Ben fell in love with the superior inclusions and flexible upgrades
From their grand alfresco, separate games space and three car garage, to the inclusion of a fifth bedroom and premium hardwood floors, Boutique’s superior inclusions and flexible upgrades were vital to creating the bespoke home of Ben and Mim’s dreams.
‘Many of the features that we were looking to upgrade with other builders were included as standard with Boutique – particularly in terms of the kitchens and bathrooms.’ says Mim.
