2 pack is made up of two parts; a combination of colour (acrylic) and hardener (resin) which results in a hardened paint finish that can be applied to doors and drawers. It is a durable, premium application for cabinetry.
Thermolaminate cabinets are coated in an acrylic surface material that goes through a vacuum process to mould the sheet to the door. Under heat and pressure, the coating wraps the substrate to form a durable barrier.
Both products have the benefit of not having any glued edges, giving your cabinet doors a seamless finish, and come in a gloss or matt finish. Both products can also be applied to our range of Polytec profiled doors and drawers.
Thermolaminate offers a select range of Polytec colours and textures, whereas 2pack gives you the freedom to select any colour within the Dulux range.
2pack paint comes in a range of finishes: 30% (Satin), 60% (semi-gloss) and 100% (gloss) while Thermolaminate comes in a wider variety of textures and finishes than 2pack. More information on our variety of finishes can be found on Abode Online. Alternatively, speak to your Joinery Designer.
Our Abode Online tool provides you with indicative pricing on a variety of cabinetry options throughout your home. We encourage you to browse before your contract appointment to get an understanding of proposed costings.
You will be guided by your Customer Experience Consultant who will put in a contract allowance to ensure you have budgeted for personalising your cabinetry.
The warranty on cabinetry workmanship is 12 months. More information around warranties can be found in the ‘Your Home Care Guide’ brochure.
You will be guided by one of our Joinery Designers for up to 4 hours to personalise the existing cabinetry throughout your home, with the option of adding additional joinery.
