2. Get practical in your Lifestyle Design Appointment

Your Lifestyle Design Appointment is one of the most important steps in your Curate with Abode journey. This is where you select all the elements that make living in your home as comfortable and functional as possible.

You’ll decide the location of power and internet points, select your heating and cooling system, and discuss decorative and task lighting. This is also where you can introduce skylights, solar panels and clever technology solutions. Think speakers in your outdoor entertainment area or a doorbell with an in-built video camera.

‘The Lifestyle Design Appointment involves aspects that people don’t often think about, but that really add to the functionality and feel of the home,’ says Lifestyle Design Manager, Elissa.

Boutique Homes’ Lifestyle Designers will walk you through each of the products on display before tackling the design of each room one at a time. Simultaneously, Boutique Homes’ price guide will ensure you still meet your budget.

‘We’ll draw up the design on-screen as we chat, before printing the paperwork for review and sign off,’ adds Elissa.

3. Create functional spaces with bespoke joinery
